Dream Away: Tribute to Male Singers (Sherry’s Cherries – Show 7)

Those voices, and those songs. Well, I had the most wonderful time preparing these shows, listening to this wonderful music from these talented artists, composers and lyricists.

There were so many beautiful songs that I made this show into Part I and Part II.

Now is a good time to tell you, the listeners, about the DMCA rules. These rules state that I cannot play more than a certain number of songs by one artist in a three-hour period. So, while I would love to do an entire tribute show to Johnny Mathis, Percy Faith, and others, I am not allowed to do this.

These shows pay tribute to male artists like Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Nate King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., and more. Some of these songs you will know, and others might be new. You might hear a new favorite such as Bobby Goldsboro’s Summer the First Time, which is unique in its beauty and sensuality. I have loved this song for many years, and I have included it in Part I and Part II.
