Did you know that the movie Legend has two soundtracks? One was created by genius Jerry Goldsmith (as well as the Sand Pebbles, Chinatown, and The Wind and the Lion). But another soundtrack was created by a group called Tangerine Dream composed of Yes members John Anderson and Bryan Ferry. So, now there are two versions of the soundtrack and the movie of Legend.
With all due respect to Tangerine Dream, Jerry Goldsmith’s score holds the keys to my heart. Tim Curry’s performance as the Prince of Darkness should not be missed. A cult favorite.
