Sherry's Cherries Radio Show

Sherries Cherries – Time Out of Mind

Did you know?

Rita Coolidge was the inspiration for Leon Russell’s song, Delta Lady? Although Rita claims she never danced naked in the garden, she was Leon’s muse ….and girlfriend. And Delta Lady is one of Leon’s best songs.

The Moody Blues guitarist Justin Hayward’s song, I Know You’re Out There Somewhere is supposed to be a sequel to Your Wildest Dream. Both are great but I like I Know You’re Out There Somewhere much better. It’s been speculated that it is about a lost lover. It’s also been speculated that it has a more spiritual meaning. It is a great song whatever the interpretation.

Movies Broadway Singers and Beyond is pleased to present some of my favorites of rock and roll music. Quincy Jones loved the Bee Gees song, Fanny (Be Tender with My Love). The middle part is perfect!!!!

You will hear from America, The Beach Boys, Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, Rick Nelson, Buffalo Springfield and more.

Enjoy!!!!

With a song in my heart,

Sherry

P.S. America’s Muskrat Love really is about 2 muskrats (Suzy and Sam) in love.
