Ah, Men

I’ve taken this title from a Betty Buckley disc where she sings the songs that have been written for men. And, she does a wonderful job.

Through the years, there have been some wonderful male voices that have dominated the airwaves, the Broadway stage and the world of entertainment.  I feel so blessed to be the age I am and to have experienced all of this beautiful music.

My next show will be dedicated to the men who have made this music come alive.  Some of these performers will be:  Sammy Davis, Nate King Cole, Jack Jones, Barry Manilow, Steve Lawrence, Brent Barrett and more.

You will hear some of the most beautiful songs.  When I first heard Steve Lawrence sing With So Little To Be Sure Of from Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway Show, Follies, I felt transported to another time, another place.  I hope you can join me for this show.

The show will debut the week of October 21^st.  Time will be announced in a future blog.
