I’m So Excited, I Just Can’t Hide It . . .

On Wednesday, September 4th, at 10:00pm Eastern Time /7:00pm Pacific Time, I will host a new show Movies Broadway Singers and Beyond Pays Tribute.  Each show will have a theme and I will play some of the most beautiful music for you.  Some of this music you may know, some may be new.

Our first show will pay tribute to some of my favorite music from the world of movie soundtracks, Broadway, and singers like Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and more.  For you movie soundtrack fans, I even have an early Hans Zimmer soundtrack that I bet you’ve never heard.   I hope you can join us and if you can, let me know what your favorites are.

A list of all of the music that will be played on this show will listed on our website, www.moviesbroadwaysingersandbeyond.com.  Should you have any questions or want any additional information about the music that I play on the show, please contact me on Facebook or our contact us page

Paradise Valley Woman Launches Internet Radio Station

Paradise Valley, AZ  August 22, 2013 – What kind of music do you like? Movie soundtracks, Broadway songs, singers like Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald? Maybe you like New Age, Big Band or Lite Rock.

Artist and film historian, Sherry Goldberg, has launched a new Internet radio station called Movies Broadway Singers and Beyond. “This is really a dream come true for me.”, says Sherry. “Being able to share my collection of music is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. All of my artwork has been created while listening to this music.”

Sherry recalls, “As a child, my mother would have music playing 24 hours a day. She was divorced and we shared a room. I would wake up throughout the night, listen and think, ‘Oh, there’s Jack Jones. There’s Andy Williams’. I grew up to be very passionate about this music. When the music industry began making CDs, I bought every song that I loved as a child.”

Sherry has over 14,000 favorite songs. The music at Movies Broadway Singers and Beyond (moviesbroadwaysingersandbeyond.com) streams continuously, and it is both commercial free and free to the public.

Sherry will be hosting her own new show Movies Broadway Singers and Beyond Pays Tribute, which will debut on Wednesday evening, September 4th at 7:00p.m. pacific time. Each show will have a theme and she will talk about the composers, singers and musicians who contributed to this outstanding body of work. “My first show will feature some of my favorite music from all the genres from Broadway to movies to singers. Some of these you may know, some may become new favorites of yours. Later in the month, we will have a show dedicated to the female vocalists of the last 50 years who have made this music come to life. Another will showcase the male vocalists. There will also be shows dedicated to movie soundtracks and Broadway show stoppers.”

According to Sherry, “If you are fans of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, Kander and Ebb or maybe Max Steiner, Miklos Rozsa or Dimitri Tiomkin, we can make you very happy. Perhaps your favorite is Frank Sinatra or Johnny Mathis or Barbra Streisand. If so, we can make you happy too.”

“If music truly does have charms to soothe the savage breast, then I think this music can lighten the spirit and even make you sing along.”

Sherry is married to Mark Goldberg, one of the founding partners of Goldberg & Osborne. Together they co-own Femmes Fatales & Fantasies Art Museum & Gallery, located in Scottsdale, AZ. The museum features her art, as well as thousands of vintage collectible movie posters.
